dc.description.abstractAwareness of environmental pollution due to single-use synthetic plastics led to the extensive use of non-woven plastics (which can be used several times before they get worn out) and eco-friendly bio-based plastics (that are bio-degradable), that would accumulate a huge amount of such wastes in the municipality waste stream. Similarly, in this digital age, a large amount of electronic goods are being used. The plastic components of these accumulated electronic wastes also add to the plastic wastes generated from other sources. The natural degradation of plastic wastes is very difficult and takes years for their degradation, thus posing threat to the environment. Therefore, it is required to design a method to recycle these wastes. Among the different recycling techniques, the suitable option of recycling these plastics would be to convert them into a source of energy or chemicals by pyrolysis. newline
