Isolation characterization and semi synthetic derivatization of phytochemicals from andrographis paniculata BURMF wall and aegle marmelos LINN correa

Abstract

Semi-synthesis of triazolyl glycoconjugates of some privileged phytochemicals isolated from Andrographis paniculata and Aegle marmelos using click chemistry approach. The research work encompasses isolation and quantitative estimation of major phytochemicals presents in A. paniculata collected from different geographic locations of India. In addition, a simple one-step method for isolating andrographolide from leaves of A. paniculata has also been developed. Further, isolation and characterization of phytochemicals from the seeds of A. marmelos have been carried out. Finally, semisynthesis of andrographolide and coumarin triazolyl glycoconjugates and their anti-Alzheimer s anti-microbial anti-cancer evaluation has been caried out. newline
