Nowadays, the newlinescenario of libraries has changed, and rather than visiting the libraries, users want to have newlinelibraries at their fingertips and accept that libraries should come to them as per their needs. newlineLibrary automation has given various challenges to the librarians and their use of ICT tools. newlineDue to the implementation of ICT tools in the libraries, librarians are facing various problems newlinebecause of the heavy workload in the libraries; now every librarian is doing both manual and newlinecomputerised work in the library. The collection development of libraries is a very important task and always a challenging job of the librarian. In this study, I have studied the present system of collection development in the management and commerce college libraries of Indore division, analysed the scope of improvement, and given a proper system of collection development so that library collections develop according to the users needs with the help of a proper method.
