The objective of this thesis is to design and analysis an antenna for newlineWBAN and wireless applications. This dissertation focuses on electromagnetic newlinecoupling between an antenna and human body and to analyses the challenges newlinein designing ultra-wide band electromagnetic structures. The goal is to newlineunderstand the ultimate behaviour of an antenna in a WBAN, for in-body newline(swallowed) and on-body communications to transfer diagnosed data from the newlinehuman body to the external system. The design structure follows the guide newlineline from Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) newlineinternational WBAN standard 802.15.6-2012 and the Federal newlineCommunications Com missionand#8223;s (FCC) UWB regulations (3.1 10.6 GHz). newlineThe ultra-wide band frequency between 3.1- 10.6 GHz was tracked newlineby essential monopole structure and multiple radiating structures. The high newlinedata rate and frequency bandwidth has fashioned more research newlineopportunities and there exists a challenge in designing of UWB microwave newlinestructure. The transmit power, channel capacity, gain (array and diversity), newlinereliability and spectral efficiency are significantly increased by familiarizing newlineMIMO (Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output) technology along with UWB newlinesystem. High decoupling structure like narrow band, UWB and MIMO along newlinewith their characteristics are implemented and analysed. Compact size with newlineless than -16 dB high resolution is the basic requirement for UWB MIMO newlineantenna. newlineProposed work 1 explains an optimal design of 10.3GHz ultra wide newlineband antenna for wireless body area network applications is proposed. newline
