newlinenecessary for the satisfactory operation of the process Standard methods for
newlinetuning include Zeigler Nichol s ZN ultimate cycling method and Cohen
newlineCoon s CC open loop tuning method In both these methods the parameters
newlineof the controller are obtained for an operating point when the plant or process
newlinemodel is linear This thesis focuses on the design of intelligent controllers
