Prussian blue insoluble (PB) also known as Ferric(III) hexacyanoferrate(II) which is newlinerecommended for thallium (Tl(I)) and Cesium Cs(I) poisoning in the 1970s and is still newlinein use. After the incident of Goiania in Brazil Prussian blue insoluble was newlinerecommended for decorporation of a large scale radiation calamity. The PB capsules newline Radiogardase®-Cs are available commercially, but access to API is a difficult area. newlineThe active pharmaceutical ingredient of Radiogardase®-Cs capsule is not available newlinecommercially. PB, the active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) is considered to be an newlineimportant part of formulations and needs to be obtained by standard methods.
