Comparative Study of Physical Fitness Training Programme on Selected Psychological Variables and Physiological Efficiency among High School Level Boys and Girls

Abstract

The primary objective of the study was to examine the effect of Physical Fitness Training Programme on Selected Psychological Variables and Physiological Efficiency Among High School Level Boys and Girls. The target population in the study was the school level students they are studying in Horizon Discovery Academy School Nanded. This study involves experimental design and the physical fitness training programme implemented on school level boys and girls. This explores and measures the stress and mental health within the different environment and different culture. The method of sample was purposive A non-random method of sampling design for school level students with a specific purpose. The sample size of the study was to 40 boys students and 40 girls students .The study depends mainly on primary source of data. The data was collected through respondents for psychological variables in the form of Questionnaires from 40 boys students of Horizon Discovery Academy School nanded and 40 girls students from Jilla Parisad School Vishnupuri Nanded. Data was collected individually through questionnaires from 40 boys and 40 girls students of the respective schools. Instructions were given to the students before filling these questionnaires by the Researcher. To measure stress, BISHT BATTERY OF STRESS SCALES-Dr. (Km.) Abha Rani Bisht For mental health VYAKTITVA SHODHIKA (A Personality Inventory)- Prof. Usha Khire and Meghamala Rajguru. The standardized battery of stress scale was measure 13 types of stresses and It measures four dimensions of scale of physical stress namely 1) Physical Frustration; 2) Physical Conflict; 3) Physical Pressure and 4) Physical Anxiety. VYAKTITVA SHODHIKA (A Personality Inventory) also measure four dimensions 1) Confidence; 2) Sociability; 3) Neurotic Tendency and 4) Self Sufficiency. Mental health score measured by (23-Neurotic Tendency Score)+Confidence Score + Sociability Score.
