The model developed in this thesis provide a framework to analyse analytical solution in the disc for elasto-plastic and creep deformation in various materials and better design, ensure safety of structural elements. The study carried out in this thesis is an attempt to find out the effect of density variation, thermal and thickness parameter in the discs for different materials. This present study is to be provided a framework for determination of stress distribution, displacement, and creep stress and strain rates in in the disc of isotropic and transversely isotropic materials. Many researchers worked on the theory of elasticity, plasticity and creep for isotropic and transversely isotropic bodies in the last several decades. Many researchers expressed the transition from one state to the other as an asymptotic phenomenon. Seth has argued that at the transition, the differential system should attain some critical points and the asymptotic solutions at these transition points give the solution corresponding to the transition state. During last decade s effort has been done to develop new materials which can withstand high temperature. These are particularly relevant in nuclear engineering, jet engines, high speed gear engines, compact disc, gas turbine rotors, internal combustion engines, casting of ship propellers, turbojet engines hypersonic planes, gas turbine, missiles and nuclear reactor, etc. which endure to severe conditions of higher angular speed, high stress and thermal behaviour. The models developed in this thesis help the scientist and engineers in providing a safer design of the disc. newline
