dc.description.abstractConventional fiber reinforced plastics have long been important if not indispensable in many crucial applications such as automobiles aerospace marineetc The high demand for the multi functional materials have compelled the researchers to develop FRP nanocomposites a three phase composite system This comprises reinforcing fiber bonding matrix and functional nano particles The present research work deals with the development of two types of Carbon Nanocrystal Particles CNCP from two different natural carbon sources through Modified Traditional Process fabricating FRP hybrid resin composite nanocomposite panels using these CNCPs preparation of CNCP nanofluid samples and characterizing them with help of different experiments as per the relevant ASTM specifications The self developed CNCPs are further purified functionalised and characterised for their chemical composition particle size shape surface area crystallinity and combustion stability using SEM TEM XRD Raman Spectroscope and TGA It has been observed from the analysis that the CNCPs comprise spheroids ellipsoids and lengthy entangled tubular particles newlineen_US
