dc.description.abstractused in high power applications. IBC with smooth soft switching is a newlinenew focused research arena with the goal of improving the performance of newlinepower converters in terms of efficiency, size, reliability, power capability, newlineswitching time, current sharing and transient response. However, fast soft newlineswitching, equal current sharing and high efficiency IBC design is still a newlinechallenging task in this field of research. newlineIn this thesis, a heightened soft switching technique for IBC with newlinezero current transition (OFF) and zero voltage transition (ON) for the main newlineswitches with improvised efficiency with wide range of loads and enhanced newlinecharacteristics is proposed and designed, which is essential for the huge newlinedemand in high power industrial applications. Following are the core newlineobjectives of this proposed work. Faster switching by reducing the number of switching stages. Higher ability to drive a wide range of loads in various duty newlinecycles (lesser than 50% and greater than 50%) with an newlineadaptive auxiliary control. To obtain better Total Harmonics Distortions (THD), newlineincreased efficiency, equal current sharing between the newlineswitches and reduced voltage stress. To be applicable for a PV panel to grid system with better newlinePower Factor (PF), radiance variation and its control, angle of newlineincidence of light and Maximum Power Point Track (MPPT). To model the transient response of the converter based on the newlinepractical nature of the device switches along with RLC load. In the first approach, eight stages related to one main switch are newlineanalyzed and corresponding analytical equations are derived. Due to newlinecontrolled resonance, the number of switching stages is reduced. Both Zero newlineVoltage Switching (ZVS) and Zero Current Switching (ZCS) characteristics newlineare built. Better THD and equal current sharing are obtained.en_US
