quotDigital signature schemes are one of the most important information newlinesecurity services offered by PKC. These schemes provide authentication, data newlineintegrity and non-repudiation to digital communications. By combining the newlineconcept of digital signatures with some specific protocols, some extensions or newlinevariations have been proposed during the last years, which a basic signature newlinescheme does not provide.
