As a direct consequence of advancements in information technology, a significant newlinenumber of educational institutions, including colleges and universities, have newlineimplemented it. The role of the teacher is the one that is most critical to the success of newlinean online learning program. In addition, it discusses studies that have investigated the newlineadvantages of information and communications technology (ICT) and online teaching, newlineas well as their integration in schools and the difficulties or challenges that are newlineencountered when using ICT and online teaching, the factors that influence successful newlineICT integration and online teaching, and the significance of school culture in the newlineutilization of ICT and online teaching by educators at both the classroom and pre- service levels.
