Performance analysis of adhoc networks using link quality in a dynamic mobile enviroment

Abstract

A Mobile Ad Hoc Networks MANET is a group of wireless newlinemobile nodes dynamically forming a network for data transfer without any newlinepreexisting infrastructure or centralized administration A wireless network newlinewith a high density of nodes and within a single collision domain has a high newlineprobability of congestion decreasing the performance significantly newlineTypically congestion includes drastic drops in network throughput newlineunacceptable packet delays and session disruptions newlineRouting in ad hoc wireless networks has been an active area of newlineresearch for many years Much of the original work in the area was motivated newlineby mobile application environments with the primary focus is to provide newlinescalable routing in the presence of mobile nodes newline newline
