Recent research on metal matrix composites (MMCs) has emerged to replace the hard materials for several applications, for example, aviation vehicles, bullet proof military vehicles, medical implants, structural materials and so forth. Also, the researchers have focused mostly on high solidarity to weight proportions, wear, and corrosion safe properties. Throughout the previous two decades, Metal Matrix Composites (MMCs) have been an alluring and dynamic region for logical examination and research, principal MMCs have turned out to be essential designing materials. From various types of metal matrix composites, the magnesium matrix composites have emerged as the present day materials that offer better properties, for example, hardness, quality, and wear opposition with a higher solidarity to weight proportion. Magnesium matrix composite is strengthened with numerous hard materials, for example, boron, graphite, alumina, and silicon carbide to develop different applications. Considering these ordinary fired particles, few analysts have attempted by using different materials like fly slag, bagasse fiery debris, marble dust, shake residue, and earth minerals. For the most part previous research works examined the development of wear, machinability, and consumption obstruction of the magnesium MMC. Among these reinforcements, Halloysite Nano Tube (HNT) has been used with the polymer matrix and few metal matrix and better results have been obtained. newline
