dc.description.abstractA field experiment entitled Studies on Feed-Milk Relationship in Buffaloes of Rural Area of Lakhimpur (Kheri) District (U.P.) . The present study are carried out on 250 Buffaloes owner in rural area of Lakhipur (Kheri) District (U.P) during 2019-2021.. The one year was divided in five season summer, rainy, autumn, winter and spring season in related village of Buffaloes owners were taken sample to observe the feed composition, milk production, its composition and feed milk relationship in Buffaloes of the rural area. The study were performed in three phase, feed intake, milk yield, its composition and feed milk relationship in first phase. Whereas improved feeding and economic evaluation of Buffaloes carried out in second and third phase respectively. In phase randomly selected from five block of District Lakhimpur (Kheri), each block randomly selected in two villages and each village selected of 25 farmers .Farmers were categorized into five groups on the basis of land holding capacity i.e., Landless farmers (landless), Marginal Farmers (lt 1.00 hectare), Small Farmers (1.00-2.00 hectare) ,Medium Famers (2.00-4.00 hectare) and Large Farmers (4.00- 10.00 hectare).In phase second and third phase were ten lactating buffaloes were selected in each category of farmers from phase first. Which selected lactating buffaloes mostly deficient in digestible crude protein intake (DCPI).Total 50 buffaloes were selected in each season and selected buffaloes extra feed given by mineral supplement 50 gm., 25 gm., Urea, 40gm. Chalk and common salt were provided as a requirement per animal per day over the previous feeding (phase-first), slight increase in DM, DCP and TDN intake will be also recorded from the individual farmers or by personal observation. In third phase to economic evaluation of buffaloes to suggest the better management practices to enhance the production level newline
