An experiment was conducted at Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Sam
newlineHigginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology andScience, Allahabad, India, during
newlineyear 2016-2017 to Effect of dietary supplementation of probiotics, garlic and neem leaf
newlinepowder on growth performance and haematobiochemical parameters in caged broiler.
newlineThe experiment was laid out in Completely Randomized factorial Design (RBD). There
newlinewere six treatments including control,4 sub groups with 3 chicks in each to serve as
newlinereplicationswith variable proportions of (basal diet + probiotic at1 kg per ton of feed,
newlinebasal diet + garlic at 1 kg per ton of feed, basal diet + neem leaf at 1 kg per ton feed,
newlinebasal diet + probiotic + garlic at 1kg per ton of feed, basal diet + probiotic + neem leaf at
newline1 kg per ton of feed and basal diet + probiotic + garlic + neem leaf at 1 kg per ton of
newlinefeed), In the view of present investigation the most effective Combined supplements of
newlinebasal diet + probiotic + garlic + neem leaf at 1 kg per ton of feed), proved best in respect
newlineof growth and performance related parameters like feed consumption, body weight, feed
newlineconversion ration (FCR) were evaluated in addition to haematological parameters.
newlinePolyherbal formulation not only improved growth and performance in birds, but also
newlinenormalized the haematological parameters. It was concluded that the positive effects of
