An implementation of active inductor employing advance active building block

Abstract

The ever-increasing demand for novel performance Advance Active Building Block (AABB) viz. low power consumption, high frequency operation and low supply voltage has led researchers to turn their focus on a new emerging trend known as current mode active building block for circuit element simulator such as active inductance simulator, active capacitance simulator, and active resistance simulator. Current mode active blocks pronounce more advantageous feature in comparison to voltage mode counterpart to achieve low power design. Over the past few decades, a wide number of analog signal processing circuits have been introduced for monolithic integrated circuit (IC) using AABB. Moreover, in recent time development is still going on to enhance the credibility of active blocks in terms of the high performance parameter. newline
