Abstract
The present thesis entitled A Treatise on the MHD Flow and Heat Transfer
newlineAnalysis of Nanofluids over Stretching Surfaces is devoted to the numerical study
newlineof different substantive problems containing the magnetohydrodynamic flow and
newlineheat transport analysis of incompressible electrically conducting nanofluids past
newlinethe stretching surfaces under diverse physical constraints. The present thesis is
newlinedivided into eight chapters, in which Chapter 1 is introductory. Chapter 2 evolves
newlineas an in-depth description of entropy generation in unsteady three-dimensional
newlineradiative electrically conducting hydromagnetic Casson nanofluid flow passing over
newlinea vertical stretching sheet under the impact of dissipative heat transport. The
newlineflow model is developed by presuming the consequences of Hall current and mixed
newlineconvection. The procedure of heat and mass transport is implemented in the entity
newlineof Brownian motion, thermophoresis, nonlinear thermal radiation, Joule heating,
newlineand viscous dissipation. The research described in Chapter 2 is further extended
newlinein Chapter 3 by considering the whole proposed model in a non-Darcy porous
newlinemedium under the dominance of the binary chemical reaction incited by activation
newlineenergy. Thus Chapter 3 reveals a numerical investigation of entropy generation
newlineon unsteady Casson nanofluid flow in the attendance of mixed convection and
newlineconvective boundary conditions. Chapter 4 is devoted to the exploration of entropy
newlinegeneration of chemically reactive mixed convective Casson nanofluid flow closer to
newlinethe stagnation point placed in a non-Darcy porous medium under the dominance
newlineof the induced magnetic field, nonlinear thermal radiation, and activation energy.
newlineThe dissipative heat transport is examined by assigning distinctive consequences
newlineof viscous dissipation and Joule heating. Chapter 5 deals with a fascinating
newlinesubstantive model concerning the magnetohydrodynamic rotating multiple slip
newlineflow of a Carreau-Yasuda nanofluid between two parallel plates inside a non-Darcy
newlineporous medium under the dominance of viscous dis
