Hybridization of optimization techniques for energy harvesting and management to enhance the lifespan of the sensor nodes in iot

Abstract

A wireless sensor network is a network of spatially distributed and dedicated newlinesensor nodes (devices) to monitor, and collect the physical conditions from a specific newlineenvironment or event, and to transfer the collected data to the central station which newlinerequires an enormous amount of energy to perform the sensing, processing, and newlinecommunicating operations. newlineBatteries are the primary power source for most sensor nodes deployed in newlineinaccessible or unattended regions. However, due to the limited capacity of the newlinebatteries, the sensor node may stop operating and run out of power. Therefore, an newlinealternative power source is required to meet the power demand of the sensor node. newline
