dc.description.abstractTo develop a control system, which is far more accurate and newlinealso cost effective. Due to the fast development of process industry, the newlinerequirements of higher product quality, better product function, and quicker newlineadjustments to the market change have become much stronger, which lead to newlinea demand of a very successful controller design strategy, both in theory and newlinepractice. Almost half of the controllers in a typical process plant are flow newlinecontrollers, and the next most common regulates liquid level, many of which newlineset flow in cascade. Level loops differ from others in their economic newlineobjectives, in that there may be no economic penalty associated with a newlineparticular deviation from set-point yet a loss of level control can shut down newlinean entire plant. They also differ in that their task is to regulate a process that newlineis fundamentally non-self regulating. This characteristic leads to limit-cycling newlineof a PI (proportional + integral) controller in the presence of any dead band newlinein the control valve, avoided by using either a valve positioner or a cascade newlineflow loop. To minimize disturbances to the downstream process, its feed rate newlineshould be constant, but must represent the average value of the total flow newlineentering the surge tank.Now a day s control system engineers in the industry are using newlinecomputer aided control system design for modeling, system identification newlineand estimation. These make a way to study MATLAB software tools and also newlinebecoming indispensable for teaching control systems theory and its newlineapplications. newline newline
