In recent decades, the rapid development of economy has resulted in newlineenvironmental pollution, especially in developing countries. One of the newlinereasons for pollution is improper disposal of wastes. Waste is any substance newlinewhich is discarded after primary use, or is worthless, defective and of no use. newlineWaste disposal has a direct or indirect impact on human lives and the newlineenvironment. newlineUncontrolled waste management can lead to medical and healthcare newlinewaste being mixed with household waste. This increases the risk of poisoning newlineor injury to children and adults who are working in sorting waste. newlineIndiscriminate burning of waste can cause major air pollution and increase newlinegreenhouse emissions. In addition, the immediate effect on the local air newlinequality, often accompanied by an increase in respiratory diseases also newlinecontributes to global warming. newlineTo manage waste in an effective way it appears to be one of the newlinegreatest challenges faced by humanity and the planet. The ongoing trend of newlineindustrialization and economic growth has resulted in increased municipal newlinesolid waste especially in cities with high population. Developing countries newlinefrequently suffer from the lack of human resources with technical expertise newlinenecessary for solid waste management planning and operation. This is often newlinecombined with insufficient and/or poorly managed funds allocated to newlineresolving waste problems, as well as with weak legislation and coordination newlineamong main institutions in charge of waste issues. All these influence on low newlinepublic awareness and education on waste and its devastating impact. newline
