Studies on the Parasitoid Complex of Galliform Anseriform and Podicipediform birds of Kashmir

Abstract

The present thesis deals with the study of newlineparasitoid complex of some galliform, anseriform and podicipediform birds o f Kashmir. The work contained In this thesis is based upon the studies of systematics and morphology of 26 species of parasites pertaining to four parasitic groups viz. newlinetrematodes, cestodes, nematodes and mallophagans, recovered from ten different bird-hosts belonging to the orders Galliformes, Anseriformes and Podicipediformes.
