Data hiding using roburst image based steganography techniques

Abstract

newline Steganography is a technique to hide any information in a cover media in such a way newlinethat nobody can even suspect it. Steganography is a confidential transmission way to newlinetransmit secret data over the channel. In this thesis, we present a new Generic Image newlineBased Steganography algorithm that will work for images of different formats such newlineas BMP, JPEG, PNG and TIFF. Our algorithm first reads any one given types of newlinecover image. It adaptively determines how many numbers of bits of secret message newlineto be stored in selected channel based on a generic variable bits adaptive partition newlinescheme. This variable bits adaptive partition scheme is based on the range of colour newlineintensity value or DCT coefficient value. This new approach spread the secret newlinemessage over the whole cover image and also reduces distortion. This method newlineprovides high capacity and security as compared to all previous work.
