Abstract
newlineDepression is one of the topmost causative factor contributing illness and
newlinedisability across the globe and becomes the greatest cause for the global
newlineburden of diseases. The major depressive disorder (MDD) is the
newlinecommonest type of depressive disorder with a primary symptoms like
newlinedepressed mood or dysphoria. Depression, as seen in children, is
newlinemanifested as the feeling of hopelessness, sadness, boredom, low esteem
newlineand social isolation and lack of interest which are quite frequent. These
newlinesymptoms can affect the interpersonal relationship and educational
newlineachievements of the child and can be persistent in adulthood. Engaging in
newlineoptimum level physical activity (PA) bears a huge advantage on physical
newlineand psychological health. Maintenance of regular PA have the numerous
newlinehealth advantages among younger population, including fitness of Cardio
newlinevascular (CV) system; obesity preventive action; better well-being; and
newlineSkeleton health. PA in the school setting have been shown to minimize
newlineanxiety, enhance endurance, boost the health, and improve positive
newlinepsychological well being among pediatric as well as adolescent age group.
newlineMusic is a strong persuader of emotion, and frequently utilized as a
newlinemeasure for modulating their state of mind. It is engaging, distracting,
newlineubiquitous, emotional, physical, communicative, social, and ambiguous, it
newlinealso influences the behavior and identities of the people. Generally the
newlinemusic is used as a coping strategy for mood change in the general
newlinepopulation, specifically in depression.
