The raise in global energy consumption made energy conversion and storage has newlineone of the most pressing concerns. Energy sustainability, energy conversion, storage, newlineand greenhouse gas reduction all rely on electrochemical and chemical energy systems. newlineAmong the various energy conversion process the waste heat to electrical energy, that newlineis thermoelectric become the hot topic of research. Several materials such as, Bi2Te3, newlinePbTe, and SiG are used as an efficient thermoelectric convertor. However, the toxicity, newlinelimited element resources, and material degradation at high temperature restrict its newlinepractical purpose. In the case of energy storage system various forms of batteries with newlinethe enhanced storage capacity is the up growing field. To overcome the drawbacks newlineand enhancing the efficiency a new material as to be develop. Metal oxides, on the newlineother hand, are promising candidates to circumvent these challenges due to their earth newlineabundance, low-cost, non-toxicity, and high thermal stability. In this concern, the newlineCuCrO2 and CuFeO2 based materials widely studied for the thermoelectric and energy newlineapplications. Another material of interest in thermoelectric is cobalt-based double newlineperovskite Sr2CoSbO6. The low electrical conductivity of these materials restricts in newlineachieving the reasonable figure of merit (ZT) value for high temperature applications. newlineHigh ZT is possible to achieve by increasing the electrical conductivity/decreasing newlinethe thermal conductivity of these compounds to a large extent by creating a mixed newlinevalence via doping. Towards this goal, these compounds will be synthesized using newlinethe solid-state reaction method with single (A or B) site and double (A and B site) newlinedoping. The synthesized materials are characterized with the help of XRD, SEM with newlineEDAX, and XPS analysis. The detailed investigation was carried out for the enhanced newlinethermoelectric performance of the synthesized materials. Further, the electrochemical newlineproperties of these materials are studied over supercapacitor and battery applications. newline newline
