dc.description.abstractThe present study examined an Effective Usage of E -Resources Selected Medical Colleges in Chennai: An Evaluative Study. They are tremendous change, of growth Information and Communication Technology proliferation of Electronic resources. Electronic resources are various purposes of using the research, academic activities and learning. The students have selected thirteen Medical Institutions and studying the students of medical professional course. The population and sample have Selected Medical College Faculty Members and Students in Chennai and namely ACS Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, D.D. Medical College, Tiruvallur, Chennai , ESIC Medical College, Chennai , Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai , Madha Medical College and Hospital, Thandalam, Chennai , Madras Medical College, Chennai, Meenakshi Medical College and Research Institute, Enathur, Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, Sri Muthukumaran Medical College, Chennai, Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai, Stanley Medical College, Chennai, Tagore Medical College and Hospital, Chennai and Saveetha Medical College, Chennai. The survey, conducted the period have 2016 to 2019.The Interview schedule of Questionnaires is followed in the study and using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Software (SPSS). The statistical analysis techniques are percentage Analysis and F - Test, ANOVA and Diagrammatical Representations have been employed depending on the nature of the data collected from the respondents of the students. The study concludes totally 650 Questionnaires were distributed and 488 questionnaires are respondents of the Medical professionals of the students. The students have the result of the overall 75.07 percent of the use Electronic resources, among the thirteen Institutions are 8.60 percent respondents in ACS Medical College, 7.60 percent in D.D. Medical College and Madras Medical College, 7.17 percent in ESIC Medical College
