Abstract

Background: Vaginal childbirth is undergone by more than 85% of mothers, newlinefrequently leading to perineal trauma and notable episiotomy rates of 93.3% among newlineprimiparous mothers and 30.2% among multiparous mothers. Central to perineal care newlineis vigilant infection monitoring due to common postpartum discomfort, often newlineexacerbated by episiotomies, resulting in swelling, lesions, rashes, sores, and boils. newlinePost-birth, meticulous perineal care is crucial for preventing infections and promoting newlineswift healing of rectal and pelvic muscles.
