Design and Development of Recommender System for Health Services

Abstract

Recommender System, is an information, filtering system that seek to predict newlinethe rating or Preference a user would give to a Health Services. Recommender system is newlineclassified into Content-based filtering, Collaborative filtering and Hybrid system. The newlinelimitation of both content-base and collaborative methods, and they both address some newlinelimitations from the other, it is natural to Web application combining these two methods newlinetogether, which leads to the Hybrid method. The ways combine the research using newlineincorporate content-based characteristics into collaborative method. One way to do this is to newlineleverage patient profile to measure similarity between two patients, and use this similarity newlinewith the help of Jaccard similarity as weight during the aggregation step of the collaborative newlineapproach. Sangli is a medical hub in western Maharashtra; citizens of various nearby districts newlineas well as Patients from Karnataka, Telangana, Goa, Andhrapradesh states are commonly newlinevisiting Sangli City for medication.
