Abstract

Phosphorus (P) is an important macronutrient in agriculture because it is one of newlinethe key nutrients for sustained crop production (Haygarth et al., 2013). In soil, generally newlinetwo forms of P exist: Organic P and Inorganic P. Among these various P forms, plant newlineabsorb only inorganic orthophosphate (H2PO4 newlineand#8722; and HPO4 newline2and#8722;) from the soil as a nutrient. newlineSoil microbes play a crucial role in plant-soil system and particularly their influence on newlineplant nutrients like phosphorous. newline
