The present study aimed to investigate the Effects of slow and fast suryanamaskar on selected motor fitness, physiological variables and performance of football players . The subjects sample consists of forty five (N=45) state level male football players ranging between 18-25 years of age were selected randomly. The subjects were divided into two groups namely: Experimental Group (30 subjects in total) and Control Group (15 subjects). The Experimental Group is further sub-divided into two groups of 15 subjects in each group. Experimental Group-I (n=15) was given slow suryanamaskar training, Experimental Group-II (n=15) was given fast suryanamaskar training and Group-III (n=15) was chosen as control group. Initial (pre-test), in during mid (mid-test) and final (post-test) scores in the criterion was collected through the administration of appropriate test items. The obtained data were computed using IBM SPSS computer software version 20. The level of significance was set at .05. To study the different training method s effect on selected dependent variables, the pre-test and post-test means were compared by applying the paired sample t test. Also the data was subjected to Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to find out the progression as well as Scheffe s post hoc test was applied if found significant. The data was further subjected to Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) to find out there were significance difference among the different training methods. Where as to study the significance of difference between paired adjusted final means where F-ratio was found significant. LSD post hoc test was applied. The t test results of the study have shown significant differences between the subject groups on all the variables. Significant changes observed only after the twelve weeks of training. Some variables are comparatively significant and some are not. newline
