Abstract
Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wireless technology is developed to transmit data at extremely
newlinelow power densities across short distances. UWB antennas for wireless systems must be com- pact in size and have a large impedance bandwidth. The requirements of the current wireless communication technology are met by using small antennas with low profile, multi-band, or wideband properties. Over the last 10 years, the majority of contemporary wireless commu- nication technologies have progressed quickly. The United States Federal Communication Commission (FCC) allocated the ultra-wideband radio spectrum with a frequency range of 3.1 to 10.6 GHz for usage by commercial UWB wireless communication systems in 2002.
newlineAntennas are designed to transmit and receive signals within a certain frequency range. The
newlinedemand for compact antennas has increased due to the widespread use of wireless communica-
newlinetion technology. Compact antennas are small in size and designed to be integrated into various portable wireless devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The design challenges for compact antennas are their limited size, which can lead to lower radiation efficiency, narrow
newlinebandwidth, and low gain.
newlineTwo different kinds of customized printed monopole aerials for wireless operations were
newlinepresented in the first design. In the first part, the suggested aerial contains an insert fed-to- radiating patch with four L slots, and in another part an insert fed-to-radiating patch with two L slots and two U slots to form a distinct antenna. A slight notch in the proposed antenna
newlineallowed it to function in three different wireless frequency bands. This design achieves better alignment of impedance without the use of additional electronics. According to parametric analysis and radiation properties, the antenna possesses useful qualities and can be applied to
newlinemobile wireless applications.
newlineThe second design includes a circular patch monopole antenna with three notch bands and
newlinea super wideband. The proposal construction is operating at frequencies betw
