Abstract

This multidisciplinary study investigates the scarcity of power in the state of newlineKarnataka and the renewable energy alternative of solar energy as a source of clean newlineand sustainable power and the extend of installation of grid connected roof top Solar newlinePhotovoltaic to a cross section of end users namely Commercial Buildings, Industry newlineand Educational Institutions in the State. It studies the Government Solar Policy newlineProductivity, Performance, Corporate value, Effectiveness and Customer Acceptance newlineof the institutions who has incorporated the technology and the effect in different newlinesectors and the sustainable effects of Social, Financial and Environmental benefits newlinederived from the adaptation of the Solar Photovoltaic. The Industry and Educational newlineInstitutions with the incorporation of Solar PV is studied along side the Commercial newlineBuilding installations to understand the application in various sectors, which will newlinethrow light on the multiple opportunities and challenges in these sectors with Solar newlinePV applications. Along with Cost Benefit Analysis, PLS-SEM is used as a tool to newlineunderstand different effect and role of the installation of Solar PV in these consumer entities. newline
