Thickness Driven Magnetic Properties in Nanocrystalline Ni Cr Thin Films

Abstract

Alloying antiferromagnetic Cr with ferromagnetic Ni provides an excellent starting point for newlinedesigning materials with various room temperature applications, such as spintronics, newlinemagnetocaloric effect and hyperthermia, thanks to its tunable Curie temperature, TC and newlinecompeting magnetic interactions. In this thesis, we present a comprehensive analysis of the newlinerelationships among film thickness, Cr surface segregation, and magnetic properties in newlinenanocrystalline newline
