Bio fortification of Wheat with Zinc Iron and Organic manure in relation to the productivity quality and soil health in the Central plain zone of Uttar Pradesh

Abstract

A field experiment on Biofortification of wheat with Zn, Fe and Organic manure in relation to the productivity, profitability, quality, and soil health in the Central plain zone of Uttar Pradesh was conducted at Student s Instructional Farm, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur during Rabi season of 2020-21 and 2021-22. The soil of the experimental field was sandy loam in texture and alkaline in nature having initial values pH 8.10 , E.C 0.36 dsm-1 , low in organic carbon 0.427 per cent, available Nitrogen 192.15 kg ha-1 , medium in available phosphorus 12.28 kg ha-1 and available potassium 162.80 kg ha-1 and deficient in available Zn 0.530 ppm, available Fe 3.96 ppm. There are three factors comprising different methods of application of nutrients.
