Abstract
Urbanization, industrialization, and overpopulation are major contributors to
newlineEnvironmental degradation. The rapid expansion of urban areas often leads to the destruction of natural habitats, increased pollution, and a higher demand for resources. Industrial activities, while essential for economic growth, often result in the release of pollutants into the air, water, and soil, exacerbating the problem. Overpopulation adds to the strain on the environment, as more people require more resources, produce more waste, and contribute to higher levels of pollution.
newline The consumption patterns of people also play a significant role in environmental degradation. The modern lifestyle, characterized by high levels of consumption and waste, puts immense pressure on the planet resources. From the overuse of single-use plastics to the excessive consumption of fossil fuels, human activities are driving the planet towardsan unsustainable future. If these patterns continue unchecked, the survival of many living beings, including humans, will be at stake.
