| dc.description.abstract | Ferrites have been regarded as essential materials because of their distinctive features like high Curie temperature, low eddy current loss, high permittivity, permeability, resistance, and greater magnetization. Soft ferrites have tremendous applications in various fields, including high frequency components, supercapacitors, microwave absorption, biosensors, biomedical sensors, photo-catalytic activity and devices of low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC). Researchers are interested in the magnetic properties of cobalt ferrites because of their vast applications like magnetic fluids, storage devices of high-density, transformer cores, microwave devices, and so on. These magnetic nanoparticles have a very high surface-to-volume ratio than the bulk, giving them unique features like super-paramagnetic, spin canting, surface anisotropy, etc. In the present work, nickel-doped cobalt ferrite samples have been synthesized via the green synthesis technique. As an eco-friendly alternative to chemical synthesis, nanomaterial synthesis employing plant extracts have been proposed. The biosynthetic approach is straightforward and yields high-yield nanomaterials with well-crystalline structures and acceptable characteristics. newline | |
