Abstract
In today s era, use of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is essential in
newlineprivate/public or government sectors, mainly for defense sector. WSN can be
newlinedeployed in forests, military sectors, industrial areas or residential societies. In
newlineexisting WSN, there are problems such as node failures, more energy usage. WSN
newlineworks on battery powered sources and due to this they cannot work for longer time.
newlineThis limitation restricts the use of WSN in remote or forest areas. Considering this
newlinelimitation, to use WSN at every place, its necessary to solve energy problem in WSN.
newlineExisting Radio Aware i.e. RA algorithm was not able to solve all problems in WSN.
newlineTo solve problem of energy consumption, Optimized Mobile Radio Aware (OMRA)
newlinealgorithm is proposed in current work.

newlineWSN is deployed in many applications where security is an important aspect.
newlineEnergy is limited in WSN, so to solve energy limitation problem, OMRA algorithm
newlinewas developed. For implementation of suitable cryptography in WSN, energy and
newlinestorage resources are limiting factor. To solve all these problems in WSN, secure
newlineWSN model with enhanced OMRA algorithm is developed during this work.
newlineTo solve security problem, encryption and compression is added in this
newlineproposed scheme. This proposed scheme tries to provide complete WSN to be use in
newlinetoday s era. This scheme uses LDPC encoder to secure important data over
newlinecommunication channel. To compensate added parity bytes due to LDPC encoder,
newlinethis scheme uses compression technique. Using compression, it is possible to provide
newlinebandwidth efficient network.
