Abstract

Curriculum is the basis of all the activities of the school. It is the life newlineblood of the educational programme. It is the curriculum on which the structure newlineof education is based. Unless the curriculum is scientifically organized and newlineproperly planned, education cannot be successful. The teaching process is also newlineone of the vital processes of the entire educational system. A well designed newlinecurriculum will be successful only if there is the best teaching and proper newlineimplementation of curriculum. The main function of teaching is to make newlinelearning effective. newlineThe present study aims the evaluation of the curriculum in the subject of newlineCompulsory English at the U.G. level, in the affiliated colleges to the newlineuniversities in Maharashtra especially in Marathwada region.
