Teacher effectiveness of secondary school teachers in relation to sense of humour emotional maturity and organizational climate

Abstract

The present study has examined and evaluated Teacher Effectiveness of secondary school teachers in relation to Sense of humour, Emotional maturity and Organizational Climate. Descriptive survey method of research was employed on 400 secondary school teachers of Malwa region of Punjab. Stratified Random sampling technique was used for the sample. Teacher Effectiveness Scale and Emotional Maturity Scale constructed (by investigator) Sense of Humour Scale (Malik and Kapoor, 2014) and Organizational Climate Scale (Singh, 2015) were employed for data collection. Skewness and Kurtosis, pearson s product moment coefficient of correlation and Regression equation were used to analyze the data. Major findings revealed that there exists positive and significant relationship between teacher effectiveness and sense of humour, emotional maturity and organizational climate among secondary school teachers. The finding of the study have numerous presented in the study provide numerous educational implications that may be useful for teacher educators, educational planners, policy makers and psychologists. newline
