Objectives of the Study were, to develop a Computer-Assisted Teaching (CAT) program for the Registered Staff Nurses on the haemodialysis for Chronic Renal Failure Patients, to assess the knowledge score of Registered Staff Nurses of Study and Control group on haemodialysis for Chronic Renal Failure patients, to assess the effects of Computer-Assisted Teaching (CAT) on the Study group regarding knowledge gain on haemodialysis for Chronic Renal Failure patients, compare the knowledge gain of Study and Control group on haemodialysis for Chronic Renal Failure patients and associate the Pre-Interventional level of knowledge of staff variable with their selected demographic variables. The conceptual framework adopted for the study was based on modified Imogene king s goal attainment theory (1981) for achieving the objectives of the study. This study was conducted at Sanjeevani Hospital and Research Centre Jabalpur (M.P.), Shalby Multi-Speciality Hospital, Jabalpur (M.P.), and Metro Hospital and Cancer Research Centre Jabalpur (M.P.) from March 2019 to March 2020. A total of 300 registered Staff nurses were selected and divided into two equal groups The relationship between the knowledge scores of the pretest among Staff Nurses and the selected demographic variables of the Control group. Demographic variables, such as the work area, were statistically significant association was indicated with pre-test scores (F = 3.251, p = 0.024) among Staff nurses at the 0.05 level. Other demographic variables did not show a statistically significant association with scores before knowledge testing among control Staff nurses. newlineConclusion: - The current study is backed up by earlier research that shows that computer-assisted instruction using a PowerPoint presentation is very effective in transferring knowledge about haemodialysis to chronic Renal Failure patients. newline newline
