Abstract
The perception of sound in the ears in the absence of external sound is defined as tinnitus. Tinnitus is frequently associated with sensory neural hearing loss. In patients with tinnitus, hearing aids, which are prescribed for amplification purposes, are known to mitigate tinnitus, also. Recent technological advancements in the hearing aid design are claimed to be even more beneficial. However, the exact mechanism by which this benefit occurs is yet to be unraveled, fully.
newlineThe aim of the study is to assess the relative efficacy of different types of digital programmable hearing aids in the management of tinnitus in individuals with hearing loss
