Synthesis and Antimicrobial Study of Some Bioactive Compounds

Abstract

Green chemistry applies to organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, and even physical chemistry. While green chemistry seems to focus on industrial applications, it does apply to any chemistry choice. Green chemistry is often cited as a style of chemical synthesis with consistent goals. The focus is on minimizing the use of hazardous chemicals and enhancing the efficiency of process. newlineChemical Industrial in the new millennium is widely adopting the concept of green chemistry to meet the fundamental scientific challenges of protecting the human health and environment while maintaining commercial profitability. The emerging area of green chemistry envisages minimum hazard as the performance criteria while designing new chemical transformation with minimum byproduct or waste as well as eliminating the use of conventional organic solvents, if possible. Among the important tools and techniques the use of ultrasonic irradiation using ionic liquid, phase transfer catalysts, polymer supported catalyst reactions are in view as an alternative energy source. newlineDuring the literature survey of the above class of compounds it was found that they are associated with various pharmacological and biological properties and thus found importance in medicine. Taking this fact into consideration it was thought worthwhile to synthesize a series of such compounds and study their physiological properties. newlineAbstract newlineii newlinePRESENT WORK: newlineThis is entitled Synthesis and Antimicrobial Study of Some Bioactive Compounds . is divided into four chapters. newlineCHAPTER-I: newlineINTROCUCTION newlineIn the present study, Heterocyclic compounds are discussed, what is heterocyclic compound, importance of heterocyclic compound in different fields and how it is important for the human being as medicine, and biological processes. newlineas an applied basic science, heterocyclic chemistry is an inexhaustible resource of many compounds. A large number of combinations of hydrocarbon, and heteroatoms in cyclic molecule can be designed, providing compounds
