Polymer electrolyte is one of the significant innovations in the area of material research. Specially in case of energy storage system like supercapacitors, batteries, solar cells and fuel cells, the contribution of polymer electrolytes plays a remarkable role due to their enhanced energy density, elevated ionic conductivity, improved mechanical flexibility, and superior safety features. First conducting polymer was discovered in 1973, polyethylene oxide (PEO) doped with alkali metal salt. Pervious literature revels that these conducting polymer electrolytes gradually modified to a better version over the periods. newlineGel polymer electrolytes (GPEs) are now being acknowledged as viable substitutes since they offer significant adaptability and compatibility with electrode materials in the realm of energy storage applications. To achieve high ionic conductivity, superior mechanical integrity, and good electrochemical properties, researchers around the world are working on developing nanocomposite gel polymer electrolytes (NCGPEs) by incorporating nanostructured ceramic additives such as SiO2, TiO2, and Al2O3 as a third phase in GPEs. newline In addition to address environmental concerns in sustainable development brings light in the use of biodegradable components from natural renewable resources in polymer electrolytes Biodegradable polymer electrolytes have good ionic conductivity, easy production, and good mechanical, chemical, and electrochemical properties. Among various biopolymers, cellulose acetate (CA), is a flexible and naturally available macromolecular organic polymer that has become the most popular material in GPE preparation in recent years. newlineThe primary focus of this research work is to synthesise and analyse cellulose acetate-based gel polymer electrolytes dispersed with nanofibers of SiO2, Al2O3, and TiO2nanofiber with the purpose of gaining a comprehensive understanding of their structural and functional properties. By conducting a thorough examination of the physical, chemical, and electrochemical characte
