The selection of a new material plays an important role in different engineering applications to enhance the functional performance weight and cost reduction of the components The selection of appropriate material for a specific product is a principal challenging task to product designers Nevertheless in order to achieve the products end needs designers ought to engage in the examination of the performance of the diverse materials and to select suitable one having the exact functionalities The decision of material selection using single evaluation criterion is unrealistic. The designers and engineers have to consider large number of evaluation criteria for the material selection process The present research focuses on the development and application of a decision making methodology for material selection using Failure Mode and Effective Analysis FMEA with Hybrid Multi Criteria Decision Making MCDM techniques and fabrication of fiber reinforced composites for sugar industrial applications newline newline newline
