Abstract
newline Posttest research design. Yoga is the Independent variable and Study Habit and Mental Health are the two dependent Variables in the present study. In the present research, the method section comprises of two parts- (i) Integrated Yoga Module Development part and (ii) Non-equivalent group Pre-post intervention study part under quasi experimental design. Yoga Module includes total 23 yogic practices comprising of various yogic components of psychological, physical and spiritual development. Initially all the 200 post graduate students studying in the discipline of Humanities from the population of Kumar Bhaskar varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University, Nalbari were selected purposively as sample of the study. From this initial pool, 154 students were selected based on their enrolment year, family environment and level of intelligence ensuring homogeneity among the sample units. So, the sample size of the present study is 154 students. All the 154 were given serial number and odd numbers were kept in Control group and even number students were kept in experimental group. Accordingly, 77 students were assigned to the control group (Not participating Group in Yoga Intervention) and 77 students were assigned to the experimental group (Participating in Yoga Intervention). However, during the treatment period 08 students were found to be irregular, therefore those irregular students were dropped from the final study sample. So, final sample size of the experimental group is 69 and of control group is 77. Along with that, it also discusses about the tools of data collection, controlling the sample size and statistical procedures applied which are t-test, mean, graph and standard deviation.
newlineIn the Chapter IV of the present study report, collected data have been analyzed and interpreted objective-wise both in qualitative and quantitative way. Tables, Bar diagram, Simple percentage, Mean, Standard deviation and t-test have been used to analyze data. The overall Level of Study Habit was observed in the avera
