Hydrogeological studies of Narsampet area Warangal District Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

The quality of water has greater reflection on human health. A critical analysis of existing water quality enables the planning and development of water resources. Realizing the need and urgency of a suitable plan for groundwater development in the Study area, Hydrogeological studies were carried out in Narsampet and surrounding areas of Warangal Rural District, Telangana. to development socio-economic upliftment of the local people. Utilizing the generated data would help the farmers to improve the irrigation facilities and in identifying the ground water potential zones, which in turn would develop the area. An integrated and multidisciplinary approach has been evolved for the exploration, exploitation and management of water resources. The present study involve, determination of concentration of various constituents in groundwater, classification of groundwater, inter-relation of constituents, identification of geochemical patterns to understand the possible sources behind the chemistry and development of hydro-geochemical model of the study area newline
