dc.description.abstractNevanlinna Theory is a powerful quantitative tool used to study the growth and behaviour of entire and meromorphic functions on the complex plane. It plays an important role in the value distribution theory. C. Picard and E. Borel, a well known Mathematicians laid the foundation for the theory of Value distribution to new path. Classical value distribution theory is the study of the density of points in the plane at which an analytic function takes a given value. This technique was utilized in our discussions. Later, the value distribution theory adopted to Nevanlinna theory was widely used to estimate the number of zeros and poles of difference polynomial, difference-differential polynomials of meromorphic functions and its extensions. The focus of the thesis is to investigate the application of Nevanlinna theory to various major research problems and it extended to L-functions concerning difference-differential polynomials.
