dc.description.abstractThe global energy demand, depletion of petroleum reserves, uncertainty supplies, escalation price of petroleum products, and emission regulations about environmental concerns have made it inevitable to find specific alternative fuel for compression ignition engine. The search for sustainable and clean energy resources have increased globally to tackle the unstable energy prices. Biodiesel is one of the sustainable fuel for CI engines which is concluded by many research studies. Even though biodiesel has more viscosity and less calorific value than pure diesel, the biodiesel can attain the performance and emission characteristics to matched with the diesel due to the presence of more oxygen content. Oxygen molecules influence the combustion process. newline
