Because of its diversity newlineand complexity, cancer has no single treatment nor can it be attributed to a newlinesingle etiologic agent. Oral complications that arise with chemotherapy newlineand/or radiation therapy include mucositis, xerostomia, bacterial, fungal, or newlineviral infection, dental caries; loss of taste; and osteoradionecrosis.
