Design and Analysis of Small Size and Broadband Sub 6G Mimo Antenna

Abstract

Microstrip antenna have been versatile used in the area of modern wireless newlinecommunication, satellite communication, 2G/3G mobile services, marine or land newlinevehicle navigations, wireless LANs access, many small devices embedded with newlineBluetooth, UWB, Zigbee, DVB etc. due to their attractive features like low profile, newlinelow weight, low cost. Conformability and compatible with MMIC designs. Mostly newlinemicrostrip antenna suffer from their inherent narrow bandwidth. Many numbers of newlinetechniques develop to increase impedance bandwidth. One of the simplest solutions is newlinethe utilizations of a thick substrate with low dielectric constant material for a low newlinequality factor. The achieved bandwidth is less than 10% because of the increased newlineinductance generates by feeding probe for a coaxially feed. Introducing the newlinecompensating capacitance by loading U-Slot on the patch and enhance bandwidth up newlineto 30% by using separate aperture coupling structure introduce bandwidth up to 25%. newlineL-Probe and cavity backed proximity-coupled techniques are able to obtain a newlinebandwidth up to 36% and 40% respectively, Stacking patches is another effective newlinetechnique to enhance bandwidth. In modern techniques metamaterial and planner newlineinverter F Antenna are versatile used due to simultaneously enhance compactness, newlinebroadness and efficiency and gain of antenna. newlineIn this dissertation a multi band antenna using defected ground plane for multipurpose newlinewireless communication is proposed. The antenna is used twelve slot in a ground newlineplane they work as electronics band gap tuning by tuning this we can tune the newlinefrequency for a different wireless communication application. In proposed design it newlineworks in a four band from 4.6 GHz to 5 GHz, 5.2 GHz to 5.5 GHz, 5.6 to 6.2 GHZ and 6.5 to 8.9 newlineGHz. The exciting patch or a radiator patch consist of parasitic and rectangular slot newlineand separated ground and exciting patch through FR4 dielectric substrate.
